I have separate feeders with just sunflower seeds for the squirrels. They don't touch the bird seed mix bird feeders anymore.

I have a separate feeder with just sunflower seeds or black seeds, these are what the squirrels eat. The cardinals and thutmose also go to that feeder, but the squirrels don't go to the mix seed feeder for the birds.
