Brewing up a Golden Ale. 3.6%, EKG. Gonna be a beaut. I’ve got a project ongoing that is giving me the excuse to make a whole lot of traditional styles and it s a palette cleanser of an exercise to get back to basics.

More questions for Americans: do you have these foamy banana sweets or is that just a UK thing?

I would join in with Spotify wrapped but apparently I only listened to songs for 157 minutes all year. I don’t *think* that’s right as I have a playlist on when I’m brewing and that’s about 7 hours.

Americans: would you just say ‘gallons’ or would specify US Gallons?

Who are some good beer related/homebrew people for me to follow?

Unpopular opinion: CAMRA serving warm, unsparkled cask at festivals is actually harmful to cask beer.

And yes I know ‘not all festivals’.

Atomfall is great. It’s essentially Fallout: Lake District. This is the answer to all the live sevice slop we’ve been seeing. This the kind of game Bethesda and Arkane should be making and have failed to give us for so long.

You know, Hallertau is bloody lovely and should be used in hop heavy beers more.

Too often it’s consigned to a token amount in a lager and it never really shines.

Busting beer myths, talking about one of my favourite video games and making Pilsner. What’s not to love about my most recent Pellicle article?

What an absolute legend. It is travesty that he is likely going to do years in prison for this act of non violent protest.

We’re releasing (well doing pre orders) for our first piece of print from @pelliclemag.com on Monday, very exciting times. I reckon we’ll get two or three volumes out this year if we sell enough of this one.
