i just would like to say how amazing i think this jade plant is!! she moved up from southern california with shae and has somehow thrived in our rainy cold shady area :') she's like 5ft tall and weighs probably 80 lbs no exaggeration

Like when you blink back from a long daydream and reality reassembles in front of your eyes, but… but more. I'm gonna love him forever. An unbidden, loud, insane little thought. It's crystal clear, the lightning bolt of knowing when you figure out the end of a mystery novel several chapters before. Later that night, naked body to naked body in Yunho's bed, the thought hits him again. He sits up to stare at Yunho's face in the darkness. In thirty years, he's going to live this moment again. Sitting up in bed to stare into Yunho's face in the darkness. Grey hair that he doesn't have now gleaming in the moonlight through the window. A different bed, a different house, three decades of love between them grown strong and sunny like an oak.

The train sways and thumps in a soothing, lurching rhythm. Outside, an unknown city passes as a blur of lights, cars, streetlamps, square windows of homes, neon blinks from restaurants. Every seat is taken in this train car. The lights are dimmed, hushed murmurs of conversation not to wake sleeping passengers. Yunho climbs the narrow staircase to the upper level. He walks an uneven line between the rows of faceless passengers until he finds an empty set of seats. The window radiates cold against his face. The city diminishes into suburbs and opens out into fields and farmland patched with stubborn drifts of snow. A hand slides over his. He knows who it is without looking, but he whips around, craving the sight of that face terribly. Wooyoung smiles at him, eyes crinkling. "We found each other again?" "I found you," Wooyoung insists. Yunho's eyes tear up and blur his beautiful face into paint smears. "Youngie," he gasps. "I missed you. I missed you, I miss—" "Don't do that. You know I can't stay long, don't spend it on that," Wooyoung complains, but his dark eyes are full of the same ache. He raises Yunho's hand and presses his cheek to it. "You still love me?" "Of course I do." Wooyoung stares back at him, piercing, memorizing, drinking him in. "I don't care if I have to gut time itself, I'm gonna figure this out." "It's okay. No one told you how to be a god," Yunho laughs, but he meant it sincerely. A pout. "No, they didn't. But I'll figure it out. I'll decide how it works. Anyway, kiss me. Wait, take this." Wooyoung slides a pendant into his hand, a dainty blue ceramic bird, and then leans into press his soft lips to Yunho's. They kiss each other, eyes open, too close to focus, faces nebulous. "I could look at you for a thousand years," Yunho whispers against his mouth. Those eyes crinkle into a pleased smile, but something catches his eye out the window behind Yunho's head, and his expression switches to alarmed. They both gasp and whip around. Every passenger in the train car is standing, silent, staring at them. Yunho's heart pounds in his chest. Faceless faces look back with restrained aggression, not a muscle moving. "Sorry," Wooyoung whispers. "Go back to sleep. I love you." Moving slowly, slowly, like walking past a coiled snake, Yunho leans forward to kiss him one last time. Try as he might to keep his eyes glued to the face he adores, they fall shut, and the void eats them all.
