Currently at the stage where i'm taking random things to find what kind of builds exist. 9/10 times, it's shit. But sometimes, you beat Chronos hitless, and that feels good.

Tormented Souls has been on my radar for a couple of years now and with the sequel coming out in a couple of weeks, I finally decided to give it a shot. Forgot what it's like to play a game with limited saves and ammo. To quote Roger Murtaugh, "It's quite possible I may be too old for this shit."

As someone who is forced by their overlords to use Co-Pilot in their job, I seriously can't imagine having the freedom to not use it and automatically think, "fuck it, gonna use it anyway."

My favorite literary retcon is by Gary Paulsen. He wrote Hatchet in '87 and then a sequel, The River, in '91. Then, he said "Fuck The River. It never happened" and wrote a new trilogy that asked "what if my wilderness boy was never rescued?" And the answer is, "he would have just been more awesome."

I'm not sure they were successful with this, because I felt like finishing this game was like pulling teeth. I love Final Fantasy VII. It's not the game that got me into RPGs, but it is the game that sold me a Playstation. Rebirth makes me question if I want to play the third one.

For my horror movie marathon next month, gonna do a little something different. In years past, I have done random movies I haven't seen, famous franchises, classic series, etc. This time, everything will be random. Found a random movie picker online, and I'm gonna use it.

I probably liked Megan more than most. But, sequels to killer doll films tend to just get sillier the longer they try to maintain their horror. Child's Play is the best example, but PuppetMaster also suffers from this. Going sci-fi action with Megan 2.0 was the best way they could take the idea.

Actually, just got my tickets. Very excited to see it on the big screen.

The Alamo is showing it this October, so i think i'm gonna have to go see it!

Yeah, this one was pretty grim and depressing. But, it had some great performances and direction. Really, really enjoyed it.
