Not a fan of users and abusers who build a pile of money through lies and abuse of power.
Here's a clip from Don Heck's 1966 ledger.

Also never got an allowance. Mowed lawns and spent a lot of time collecting pop bottles.
My parents never objected to anything I read. I do recall my mother asking me about THE ROGUE ROMAN. "Mom it's a Frazetta cover" satisfied her.

Fuck the Dodgers.
Horrific and unforgivable.

This was the very last time I watched the Dodgers. Completely dead to me forever.

Noticed this comment by @jeetheer.bsky.social at the FB Marvel Method page. Kirby would have been familiar with Doc Savage but the team of mixed personalities goes back much further. Kirby mentioned Dumas in several interviews. I'm sure the team comprised of contrasts is ancient.

Post by Ferran Delgado and comment by Kevin Koch.
Lee demanded dozens of arbitrary last second alterations of artwork which was already completed through the stage of production stats ready for the printer.

A few years ago Michael Kaluta posted about a friend who showed him the original art for several complete early Silver Age Kirby stories. Kaluta took photos and here's one of the photos he took. Hulk #3 was part of what Kaluta was shown and photographed.

Interview with Leon Lazarus by Jim Amash. Note that Stan Lee wasn't even an editor. Lee was basically a traffic manager.

There's a period right where he's moving along where it's a weird mix of cartooning and realism on the same page.
Here's the zenith of his realism. In my opinion.
