Planning on going to the climbing gym this weekend to get a membership and get into a healthy active routine! I’m excited, feels appropriate and necessary considering the stupid amount of trouble I just went through trying to open a jar of peaches 😭

We’ve had the first two sunny days here in Pittsburgh after what feels like 3 months straight of perpetual dark and cloudy skies…combine that with more daylight during the day due to daylight savings, and my mental health has taken a much-needed upswing

Lots of cons about 2025 and the foreseeable future (rise of US fascism and all that), which can make it hard to find joy, so sometimes it’s good to simplify things and find small things about the now to appreciate

Took some ice cream out of the freezer to let it soften a bit, walked away, forgot about it, came back to it being fully melted
Felt really deflated for a moment until my partner suggested I use the melted ice cream as a chocolate base for chocolate milk
Currently enjoying the fruits of her mind 🤤
