I think we should acknowledge more that some writers and creators just plain suck no matter how many chances they're given and maybe its the folks surrounding them that actually cook instead of them

I don't normally subscribe as much to the "ohhhh is this single creator got endless creative freedom" mindset as much anymore, typically because most end up being completely understandable
