Sounds like those people don't actually care about their LGBTQ+ friends. Sounds a lot like those people are the ones who switch sides for their benefit instead of sticking to what is right.

Why is this so funny?

As a man, I hate that I share the same sex as the filth that does this shit. Not out of gender dysphoria or anything like that, but from something akin to shared embarrassment at seeing other people of my gender do that shit. It just feels gross.

I sure hope they pursue and give some explanation. I know Destiny doesn't delve into horror much, but I do enjoy it when they do. Makes me wonder if some of those things still linger on Earth. I may be mistaken, but weren't there also mentions of something similar in old Chicago?

If Tormentors/some form of the Dread didn't exist before Lightfall/Final Shape, then what the the creatures The Drifter and his crew encountered at the edge of the system? Same with dark age humanity dealing with what seemed like dark creatures lurking about? Forgotten narrative thread?
