Sorry for the lack of posts I keep forgetting to post here! I made some massive strides on the G scale outdoor layout since I last posted so here's a thread of the stuff that's happened;
Firstly a lot of settling of the roadbed and tight on cash means mixed materials for leveling as seen in pics

Photos from the first evening of running my own garden railroad! Kalamazoo ATSF 4-4-0 & Southern coaches, good test train, track needs some leveling but this is all temporary for now!

Over the course of the past four days I've been hastily building a questionably stable G scale layout!! Final photo is from tonight, tomorrow I'll work on more leveling and getting some tracks in place! The sidewalk will be crossed by two bridges that will both completely lift out when not in use :3

Coach is getting hand painted stuff done then it'll be time for clear coat

More coach stuff today, got some more bits painted and cleaned the roof since it'll be repainted aswell

G scale Monon time let's go fuckers

Coach is a heavy wip with some botched bits due to glue damage from the last owner

Still should look good regardless :3

End of the first day of the train show, finally got to see all three of the Monon F units I've painted together!

ATSF 752 running on a temporary front yard loop laid onto fresh fluffy snow, tomorrow we may see a full freight train

First snowfall of the year yesterday, was very pretty to watch it come down all day.
