Next week's article: "Why Other M is Better than Prime 4"

Conservatives win almost all of the urban seats in Alberta as well.

Because Nintendo isn't desperate for buzz like they were coming off the Wii U and learned from the mistakes of the Switch 1 to not announce games anymore years before they will actually come out. In recent years, there is around six months between reveal and release, which imo is a lot better.

I really don't understand how MKW, DK Bananza, Kirby Air Riders, Hyrule Warriors, and Metroid Prime 4 could be considered a bad set of games for a launch year even if you don't personally like all of those games, but to each their own I guess.

The greed has been going too far ever since neoliberalism became the dominant political ideology and managed to convince people that the answer to economic problems was to deregulate and cut taxes for the rich. We are living in the natural consequence of that being the status quo for over 40 years.

Democrats offered a person who wasn't excessively old and they chose Sleepy Donald Trump anyways, which proves it was never about age or physical/mental capacity.
November 28, 2025 at 8:08 PM
I don't mind some story and dialogue like Prime 3, but the isolated experience of Samus going through a new place and fighting enemies and making discoveries by herself without anyone yapping in her ear is the core of the Metroid experience and fans aren't wrong for being afraid we're losing that.

The delays wouldn't have worked all the way up until election day if not for the fact that Biden chose the single most worthless and ineffective AG in the entire history of America who waited a year to actually start the process and then slow-walked Trump's prosecution every step of the way.
November 25, 2025 at 9:25 PM
First we need to make sure all of the old guard Democrats are removed and replaced with more Mamdani-types so that we don't end up in the same situation again where someone like Merrick Garland is picked as Attorney General and then proceeds to slow-walk prosecution for four years.

*sigh* Trump wasn't a major political figure, SCOTUS wasn't hijacked, most major Republicans weren't openly fascist, economy was on the rebound, some actual progress on peace in the Middle East, not sad and angry every single fucking day.

It was 11 years ago but feels like an eternity.

It's almost like it's just about controlling women's bodies and making the second-class citizens again, and the majority of "pro-lifers" actually don't give a single shit about the unborn.

NOA could really do a with a President who is at least somewhat good at public relations right now.
September 25, 2025 at 10:37 PM
No, it isn't. Watergate and Nixon's downfall is why Fox News and the 24/7 right-wing misinformation machine exists today. Conservatives wanted to ensure a Republican President would never again go down like that because of pesky unbiased media, and that's how we got to now.

Who else didn't have any of that crap and hasn't supported Disney for years already?

1987 New Brunswick election. The governing PCs went from 39 to 0.

Gerrymandering does not always work as intended, but that doesn't mean we should not be worrying about it. The main reason Republicans were able to narrowly win the House in 2022 and 2024 is because of their gerrymandering efforts from the 2020 redistricting cycle.

Now that's what we call a masterpiece for your wallet.
August 30, 2025 at 5:55 AM
My guy, there's people who rely on the ACA that voted for Trump who said he would repeal it. Those people are not voting based on policy.

The Dems could have done more while in power, yes, but everything since 2016 would not have been prevented simply by M4A or some other big policy win.
August 15, 2025 at 4:13 PM
2004, 2016, and 2024 which the Republicans won all had over 60% turnout.

'08 had nowhere close to 70% turnout (62%) and 2012 had less than 60% and Democrats just barely won in 2020 with over 65%.
August 15, 2025 at 12:08 AM
Yeah but 1/3 are in a cult and will never ever admit that things are bad or at least will content themselves with the fact that the people they don't like are also suffering.
August 10, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Exactly. People always go on about how the Dems need better messaging, but there's a simple reason why it's been ineffective and that's because you can't simultaneously represent both the billionaires and the working class.
August 3, 2025 at 4:51 PM
Nah, the capitulation was expected. America wouldn't be in this mess if it was good about standing up to the rich and powerful.
August 1, 2025 at 3:43 PM
Guarantee that 0% of the money that dumbass people will give to this will go the national debt and will instead go to Trump's pocket directly.
July 26, 2025 at 9:45 AM
Roberts definitely deserves to live and be remembered in infamy, but he's just a part of this.

The entire Republican party, all the right-wing grifters/propagandists, the other conservative SCOTUS justices, billionaires, and 77 million voters all share the blame for this shit sandwich.
