I've jokingly considered leaving the country in years past. This is the first time I've legitimately been wondering if it'd be possible for me and my family to get out.

I remember growing up in a conservative bubble, being a junior in high school during 9/11 and believing all of this. I was old enough to vote for Bush during for his 2nd term. Then I spent a couple years outside the country and learned a lot more. Haven't voted republican since.
