M:I The Final Reckoning was one of the most expensive movies ever made, and it didn’t even come close to making back its budget. But it’s gotta be held to a different standard, right? AFAIK: they paid the cast and crew throughout the SAG & DGA strikes. That’s unprecedented for a blockbuster!

The opening fight scene in Puss in Boots 2 goes up there with the construction fight scene in Casino Royale for the best early action scenes in a movie!

I was gonna post “why is my boy wearing an Angels hat? Why in the world would he go for that team?” But in my 5 minutes of googling, this isn’t an official Angels logo? I don’t care enough to spend any more time seeing if it’s minor league team or some shit, but I’m still a little confused!

The Bone Temple is so much more gruesome than the other 3 entrees but I think a solid chunk of that is based in the Memento Mori/Memento Amoris from 28 Years Later. That movie had such a poignant message about the death of loved ones THAT seeing other people’s loved ones die in TBT is so much sadder

I haven’t seen The Bone Temple yet, but I’m calling it ending with an epilogue of 28 months later. That way we’ll get to see Isla as a toddler. And then the 3rd entry will end with an epilogue of 28 years later where we’ll see Isla free in the modern world, free from the quarantine…

I’m rewatching 28 Years Later,and boy is the poem from the trailer really shoddily put into the beginning. It’s probably my least favorite part of the movie. After a trailer that good audiences were gonna be annoyed if it wasn’t used in the movie but i wish it was used better, or just left out…

I think I gotta get more superstitious. A lot of my everyday problems could be solved if I blamed most minor inconveniences on forgetting my lucky charm at home!
