NEW: Appalshop in Whitesburg, KY had much of its vast archive of Appalachian media damaged in historic 2022 flooding, but received federal grants to restore them. Now those grants are likely to be zeroed out with DOGE cuts to NEH and IMLS, putting the archives and other humanities programs at risk.
