They/Them. 20. Writer. Museum Studies student. Southerner. Lover of sci-fi, horror, and religious themes. Plant dad.
For reference, I'm a 3rd year college student. I've had to work my first two years, but am lucky this semester to be on a grant so I can work on my writing. I started using Tiimo last semester but it will definitely be good for breaking up my long afternoons into writing/HW chunks

I LOVE Tiimo! It's a bit buggy at first but they have a ios/android app, along with a website. It's like a calendar and reminders in one and you can actively break down your day into minutes/hours and drag in activities when you have time. New features are being added regularly too. Worth a look

As a current college student, it is literally HARDER to use AI to write a paper/answers than to come up with something yourself. It has its purposes and uses, like in certain stages of research, but I cannot understand people who write essays with it and just turn it in!

Writeblr has stayed pretty big afaik! I just dropped off because of college commitments 🫠

I've been part of discord writing groups before, but they were fairly niche, either location based or a small group of friends. I might check out tumblr again because that feels like a good place to start

Hey! I'm also new to bluesky! I write mostly scifi-thriller type stuff with queer characters! I also enjoy some good horror thrown in there as well! Hope to see you around!

Just bought it today 👁️ cannot wait to read

LLMs are being used to make searching in museum collections more accessible for both researchers and the general public, as well as standardizing how labels and information is written/stored. That's the gist, but I am perfectly happy to talk about museums all day ;) I hope to see you around!

You'd be surprised, esp with AI developments! My specialty is historic textiles though, specifically stockings and socks, so I don't get to mess with the fun modern stuff 🥲

I never really ran a proper social media for my writing beyond an old tumblr blog, so this is a learning curve for me!!

Same here, I just want something chill online 🥺
