finally...the origin of the "Cool S" Sword™™™
a promotional comic for Spellomancer. in the first panel, a weaponsmith stands in front of a forge. next, the camera focuses on their hands writing two sets of three lines, one right on top of the other with some space for further drawing. the next panel focuses on the smith's determined, sweaty face as he continues drawing. in the last panel, the smith says to his two little acorn pupils, "my loyal Scrimblo, it is finally ready...prepare the forge." the second page of this promotional comic for Spellomancer. the first panel features the sword, burning hot on the forge. the next three panels feature the weaponsmith smacking the sword with a big hammer to bend it into shape. in the panel after, the smacks of their hammer are heard from a distance as the the two acorn Scrimblo watch with awe and fear from the side. "take it easy with them sparks, boss!" the shorter of the two says. "we're very flammable!" the next panel sees the weaponsmith lifting the sword out of the forge with a big FWOOSH. in the last panel, his face relaxes triumphantly. "fret not, acorn, for my life's work is at last complete. the culmination of a millennia of arcane knowledge distilled into this...the ultimate weapon." the third page of this promotional comic for Spellomancer. the weaponsmith holds his creation up high--a sword made in the shape of the "Cool S" that school children like to draw in their notebooks. he proudly proclaims, "THE COOL S SWORD." in the next panel, the shorter of the two acorn Scrimblo says, "wow! now that's one cool sword!!!" their friend responds, "yes." in the final panel, the short acorn Scrimblo whispers to their friend, "let's steal it." their friend responds, "yes."
