“Defend the weak and fatherless; Uphold the cause of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them from the wicked” Ps. 82:3-4
“A total disregard for human rights.” And that’s putting it mildly.

I’ll hear no defense of this despicable behavior.
This guy went to work today, put a mask on, kidnapped a 5 year old child, and then used him as bait so both he and his father could be sent behind bars

“It’s fine dude. I’m not mad at you”

Her last words. Said to the man who would shoot her point blank as she tried to flee from masked men grabbing her car.

He called her “f*cking b*tch” as he shot her.

Remember who is being called a “domestic terrorist” and who a “committed Christian.”

I was putting my son to bed and I decided to ask, “What’s the most important thing in the world?” Just to see what he would say. “I don’t know,” he says. So I switch up the question a bit. “What’s the most important thing to you?” Guys. He says, “Snuggling with you” 🥹😩😭

After more than two months on the road, Chicago priest Fr. Gary Graf completed a 1.65-million-step walk from Dolton, Illinois, to the Statue of Liberty — a march meant to draw national attention to ongoing deportations and the trauma immigrant families are facing.
After 900-mile trek, Chicago priest urges action and empathy on deportations
"We need to do more than talk," Fr. Gary Graf said. "We need to engage people in conversation. We need to step into the middle. We need to mediate in a sense."

My son and I read this every morning. Lemme tell you, the number of times I’ve cried reading these stories. St. Mary of Egypt got me this morning.

Let’s get into it
December 3, 2025 at 2:05 PM
On Sunday we read the Gospel which says “Sell what you have and give to the poor.” My son gathered some of his toys, my wife and I gathered books, and we sold what we had. My son received the money and we went together to purchase a Christmas gift for the young boy he picked from our Angel Tree.
