Several months back, I played through the four Sorcery! books (now folded into the Fighting Fantasy series). Truth be told, I found them fairly tedious, especially by book three.
That said, I really dug the vibe. That 60s/70s, pre-homogenization of Fantasy thing. Aided by John Blanche's art.
