I find lack of RSS/Atom feeds disturbing. Many modern websites do not include eighter of those, instead relying on social media, and older websites are (understandably) not updated to include this functionality.
Yet there are many resources where one cannot expect to be fed news by an algorithm.

In Prague autumn weather started and with season for felt hats. This morning I had to quickly find my hat brush. That was a minor inconvenience - I am glad for the opportunity once again to wear proper hats!

@microsoft.com really should consider using better translators or translation software! I've received an email from Planner stating in Czech "Microsoft jménem vaší organizace...". It implies a legal power to act on the behalf of our institution, sometimes even with the power of the attorney!

Apparently the book Debrett's Guide to Business Etiquette has nothing on resignation letters. I collect their guides (I also think that's my upbringing make it unnecessaril but reference is sometimes useful). Maybe it would be useful in further editions? @debretts.bsky.social

In the Czech Republic, it becomes far more accessible to cut through your skin and let a blood out to alleviate nervousness or tension (often connected with diagnosed mental health problems) than to smoke cigarettes.

Government of P. Fiala to tax those with mental health issues!

What lenses do Czech government agencies use? In no other photos then those made for travel passport or citizen ID, I do not look so bad. My face seems flat and almost circular, I have apparently hamster cheeks pouches...

I think everyone sometimes must deal with a problem that the number of days in a week is not dividable by two.
Manufactures of pillboxes, apparently not - some pills are to be split into two. Where to put remaining half after filling a week pill organizer?

Everyone is sometimes unsure about proper manners. I'm convinced I know how to properly carry a walking stick. I know what is the preferred way of carrying a sword.
But today I had to walk both with a walking stick and carrying a sabre (not on a belt). What a dilemma!

I think it would be nice if librarians had service/official passports (or other ID). Not necessarily as a travel document, just as a way to prove belonging to the librarians community. But I like things like this, British might be (traditionally) against any form of ID.

I use about 207g of soap per month (considering only soap used in the shower). That's 4.56 Kg of soap per 22 weeks. I like to count things like this...

Our cleaning staff have a disgusting habit of wiping computer keyboards with a slightly wet rag.
I bought a new keyboard (with a trackball) and I hope a custom cover will prevent them from damaging it.

Desks of librarians shall not be touched!

Interesting. On the Spotify, I've clicked on "artist radio" at soundtrack for movie Single man (yes, I have several artists). Now I am listening mostly to Chinese communist music. Some works are quite beautiful, but I am not so sure about their content.

I am trying out BlueSky (I never really was at Twitter/X). But Mastodon might be better for me - it allows more characters per message.
Short messages are good and the point of microblogging, but 300 characters is for some too little.

I think there is a real problem with social media for polyglots. Almost none allows you to send a post with text in multiple languages. Not all my contacts are able to read in the same languages I use. Automatic translations also cannot be affected by the desired message.
