I've been on hiatus for quite a while, but I've been working on tons of new and exciting art in the background! I've got a lot on my plate work and health wise, but I'll try to be more consistent in the coming weeks and months (emphasis on try! 😅)

This one is about struggling to finish what you start when it comes to creating art (or anything really) and finding both initial and renewed motivation and inspiration. Ironically, it was basically done 3 weeks ago, but couldn't motivate myself to finish it until last night 💀

I've been asking that myself, because I have a little artist self-insert/character that *I'd* call an OC, because he's a character I created, but he doesn't have like...a backstory or personality, it's just a stand-in for me when I don't wanna draw myself. I think the definition is very loose

I started doing art about 9 months ago and am still trying to figure stuff out, but I'm having tons of fun!

I do mostly slice of life stuff, horror and queer art (+ anything interests me really lol)

I especially love playing around with different styles, variety is the spice of life!

Ever tried drawing a poppy from the side in a way that's visually interesting? Yeah, it's a lot harder than it looks. The bugs were fun to draw tho, I love those little critters 🪳🪲🐛🐞
