Superman for January 2nd is… DC COMICS PRESENTS ANNUAL #3!!! Since Superman is the headlining character (two of them, even!) this counts! He teams up with Captain Marvel to face the deadly Doctor Shivana, who has been granted all the same powers as Captain Marvel. It’s a fun issue

JANUARY 2ND’S WONDER WOMAN ISSUE… #301! I picked this up today at the comic store, and I’ve read the last handful of issues that build up to crisis so I was able to fill my knowledge gaps pretty well. This is a totally random issue which features former terrorist Sophia being jealous of Wonder Woman

JANUARY 2ND’S WONDER WOMAN ISSUE… #301! This is a totally random issue which features former terrorist Sophia being jealous of Wonder Woman
ACTION COMICS #1 is easily the greatest of the three “first appearance” DC magazines for their famous trinity. Superman takes down a wife beater, saves an innocent woman from the electric chair, and harasses a corrupt government employee. Vastly different from today’s version but the same too
