Matt Fraction and Jorge Jimenez's Batman #1 brings back one of my favorite parts of Frank Miller's Dark Knight, one that almost none of its poor imitations seized on: the media satire. The TV screens are back, and the captions are as barbed as ever.

On the other hand... this passage perfectly describes the benefits of reading literature and could not be further from describing so many of the people who study it.
