Well not even admitting a genocide is occuring leads directly to thinking that funding both sides of the conflict is the correct way to go. It's not like Canada will stop funding Israel -- when it should be using that money to fund humanitarian aid for Gaza.

He refuses to say that what Israel is doing to Palestinians is a genocide. I don't think he's the ally people think he is.

And to be fair Montreal has to go 3-2 or better and for either Detroit or NYR to run the table (or for Montreal to go 2-3 and for both Detroit / NYR to run the table. Which I checked and it's technically possible schedule wise). All of these scenarios are highly unlikely though.

Also by my calculations we should finish with 94-95 points based on home/away points percentage (not based on strength of schedule matchup-wise - I don't have those models available to me).

To be fair though - if we lose all three to Columbus and then beat Montreal and get 3 more wins elsewhere it'd probably be good enough too. I don't want to call it but we are just ridiculously likely to make the playoffs here.

I just did a bit of math and I think the playoff cutoff point might be 87-88 points - so 5 more wins is probably good enough for Ottawa. Maybe even 4 but let's not get ahead of ourselves here esp since 3 of those games are against Columbus.

If I had seen your campaign (esp the interview w/ @rachelgilmore.bsky.social ) I would have tried to register as a Liberal sooner (I'm more of an NDP / Green guy though so I refrained). Silly me - didn't know it was ranked choice and thought it was just a forgone conclusion. Good luck tomorrow!
