If you want to be pragmatic, it is different for the leader of a country how to approach a killing spree on its first vs it's 400th day.

Agree they should never have said that, I remember it too. But at least it was in the first days after a mass attack on Israel so politicians were competing in their support. And before the UK elections so had to try not to spook a big part of his own electorate.

Uhm 2/3 of the Hamas leaders have been killed and the 3rd one Israel has also said they've killed him.

Uhm Labour came to power in the summer and have already restricted certain weapon sales. Lammy has said they will follow the ICC's decisions (before today's announcement). Where is the Tory government in your post?

I'm not American. But the size of what is coming, I really fear the next four years won't go by peacefully.

The lack of qualifications? Just thinking out loud

I'm not American and I knew that. Must have a serious education problem in America

Having said that I don't agree with inheritance tax. I didn't agree when I had nothing and I don't agree now that I have something. It's taxing twice the same things, and AFTER you die. Doesn't matter what the threshold is, it's still taxing twice for the same thing.

It's a classic case of having said so many lies in your life that you can't keep track. The best of them have been caught out like this.

Don't engage. Block early and hard before they swamp the place

Can't you advertise a beer or a whisky, I'd love to support your riches but I can't stand vodka!

Or banned from playing. Why are Russian athletes and teams being banned from competitions yet Israeli athletes aren't? Neither are responsible for their countries' crimes yet one is banned and the other requires half a country's police forces to play.

Stats were from gov.uk

In a report by the Samaritans, men talk about relationships breaking down, separation from children, job loss, addiction, lack of close friendships, loneliness and being unable to open up.
Sex addiction is not in that list, definitely not in a direct way.

Reported love. Take your gun with you on the way out.

I live in the UK. So I'm surprised you don't know about the dangers of gambling with 14.2 billion pounds profit in 2020, 54% of adults having gambled in 2018, 0.5% of the population with addiction, 3.8% at high risk, 7% negatively affected by others' gambling. Immeasurable harm in finances/health.

Maybe you'd want to read "the empire of pain". Sex is of course important. But it is not itself ADDICTIVE. The vast majority of people enjoy and pursue sex. But they're not ADDICTED to it. And it won't kill them with one bullet /one pill /one injection.

I'm happy with dropping the word sacred. That was my main point.
As for the societal harms, first look at sports gambling, legal and illegal, arms sales, legal and illegal, drug sales, legal and illegal and you'll have found proper big fish to fry.

Any contact sport involves danger. Any motor sport involves danger.
Most winter sports involve danger.
Selling guns involves mass deaths.
Not only they're legal but the best in them are very rich people indeed.
Difference is, with sex work it's a woman's right that is "the problem"
November 18, 2024 at 9:47 PM
So from a woman's sexuality being a false pretense of leftists we've gone to societal decay. There's a huge gap in that thought sequence. There are too many differences between selling drugs and selling your own body for sex.
November 18, 2024 at 9:44 PM
Again, you're not talking about a woman's body being sacred or not. You're talking about men. I don't think sex should be for sale. But women choosing in free will to use it like that is their right, and doesn't make their bodies any less sacred, that's what I'm saying.
