IIRC the head writer for this raid went on to become the new head MSQ writer for the 6.x patches and Dawntrail after Ishikawa stepped back to a more supervisory position post-6.0 Endwalker.

There’s also a far more appropriate segment from the same documentary to quote anyways, where the tech people basically describe how their desire is to build a machine that basically describes genAI and the documentary pretty obviously frames Miyazaki’s reaction to that negativity.

I mean the Gold Rush is what established the population centers, its effects are not really something that dissipated in the first place. The Central Valley extends all the way up and down the interior of California and produces more than half of the USA’s fruits, vegetables, and nuts.

The scene isn't particularly different, it just has Barret referencing his wife as the person he wants to give a better life to instead of Marlene/the kids. The guys at Shinra Archaeology the original mistake was likely due to someone mixing up Marlene and Myrna's names and that mistake never being-

Final Wars I quite like but the snout is just a little too pinched for my personal preferences. My favorite has to be the KiryuGoji design which I feel takes the best qualities of the MireGoji and late Heisei-era Godzilla suits and blends them to create the best standard-default Godzilla look.
