U.S. citizens have never been rounded up and deported. Ever. That is still true. Trump can’t drag people from their workplaces or homes and drive them to the border and dump them off. That would be highly illegal and they’d immediately get caught and tied up in court for years.

You think those people can’t be outsmarted? Of course they can be outsmarted. And those who are posting signs to call for snitching are about as dumb as they get. Those are not ‘official’ requests. We You do have laws in your country still and there are processes for deporting people.

Who said black and brown people? If 10,000 calls a day come in for every 1 actual ‘suspect,’ nothing will ever get accomplished. That sort of government ‘snitch’ strategy doesn’t work when half of the population is against it (and are aware). It’s easy to overwhelm the system.

One could report lots of people that are known US citizens who happen to not be white.

What would happen if local people reported ALL they suspect? Basically, anyone non-white? Would that over-burden the system and basically make this sort of thing useless?
