A couple of things I'd encourage.
1. Don't engage with people trolling, arguing, or just being rude.

2. Don't follow everyone you come across. Curate your feed so it's friends.

3. Be excellent to each other.

Side note, we hired him and I took him aside to let him know acknowledge how crazy that part of the interview was.
He thanked me and was AMAZING at his job.

Sometimes people get weird in interviews.

I was once asked to sit in, as I had tech knowledge the executives didn't, and one executive hammered down on the most minor point repeatedly. The interviewee answered it twice and before he had to a 3rd time, I jumped in.

Some people are just weird.

I'd go a step further.
We need to salt the earth and make the people behind this toxic.

Send a clear message to any other company that if they try this, the consequences will be life a changing kind of bad for them

I do not have a poker face, but even still I don't think I've ever failed so spectacularly to hide my feelings.

I tried very hard to be polite and kind, only talked when absolutely needed but everyone was aware of how uncomfortable/upset I was

It's not going well.

Seems they neglected to inform me about a couple of things.

Like my coverage rejected the claim so the price for the work today is 10x what I expected.

Thankfully I spoke up before the work was done.

Think I made 4 issues in before I dropped this series.

Gave the issues I had away at Halloween years and years ago.
Some kid who doesn't know any better had to have enjoyed it more than I did!
