They had already worked together to develop hardware, and made the deal with Phillips, under the table, without informing Sony. While keeping the IP for what they had developed. In my book, that’s stabbing someone in the back. I don’t disagree the deal could’ve been worked through better.

I mean, if half of your hardware only exists due to them. Shouldn’t affect older titles, only new. They chose Phillips instead, gave licensing for a few big names, and didn’t really get much from it. Imagine the alternative. Not ignorance, differing opinion.
