Grey damp Sundays like this are what cosy coffee shops are for. That’s my plan.

For years I had my own wet darkroom and enjoyed printing my ‘fine art’ prints the traditional way. Last year I focussed on digital print, and I’ve surprised myself. I now enjoy creating digital as much. After all, creativity is creativity. It’s how the image feels that matters, not how it’s made.

I hope we get snow again this winter. I took these robin photos recently up at Westport Lake, Stoke-on-Trent, the Monday we had fresh snow and a crystal blue sky.
