I made a friend while winterizing my garden. They are a garden ghost spider (aka Hibana gracilis).

Not my greatest work ever, but it certainly is a start. Working on this piece I realized just how important studies are to cultivating good drawing techniques. So, I will focus on improving my skills when it comes to sketching lighting and people.

I want to start sharing updates of my various hobbies on this account. I think I'll start off by sharing these pictures my friend and I took of the April 8th 2024 solar eclipse. Captured through my telescope with a smartphone. Also included is the jury-rigged filter I made. #space #eclipse #science
