I’m guessing it’s for the best indie horror game nomination at the Horror Game Awards. I think.

It feels like Scott may have taken the “for the fans” thing a bit farther than needed in a way the first movie balanced a lot more. Still, I’m excited to see in where things go, even if I do wish things were handled better, all the cards on and off the table are really interesting to me.😄

Now that I’ve had time with it, I still enjoyed it quite a lot, though as much as it does improve on som things from the first, it’s got more… apparent issues I can’t disagree with completely. First I’d say is better overall as a complete movie.

Granted, if any movie actor were gonna do it, it would be him, but still.

So yeah it’s a bit of a step forward and back which is a shame. However, I’m not budging on that I like the movie acknowledging its flaws. This isn’t me being completely clouded by toxic positivity. Character wise I like it more but it has pacing issues. Fair.

I’m still accessing how I feel about the dissapointing from a lore perspective parts. Some of them I’m sad seem to be dropped fast though that does at least make me interested in them being off the table. That’s still technically not great that a lot of this relies on a follow up though.

Having really liked the first, I would say even better for the most part. It’ll probably be pretty divisive in some spots though which is fair; not perfect and Im mixed on some choices, but I respect most of them and I’m definitely excited about where they go.
