Here’s some ASMR content! These are some brass bucklers that can be worn as rings. It’s nice to be able to do a bit of cold work on the anvil, even the induction forge makes my workshop a little foisty in this weather!

These are four pieces I finished this week, preparing for Fantasy Forest in a few weeks time! I’ll have a mixture of historical, pop culture, fantasy originals and wearable pieces, but dang another couple of weeks to prepare would be nice 😅

More tiny tiny gubbins! The kris was a fun little challenge. I started with an attempt to carve a Buddha, but it turned into a monkey, which I felt was more appropriate. Not long now til the show! (Tiny violin made by Sergio Macedo Netto)

Extra tiny zweifinger! I’m still getting to grips with 1/12 scale, but I’m pleased with how this one turned out without too much reduction in detail- here’s a 1/6 scale one I did a couple months ago for comparison!

Sorry, it’s been a MOMENT since I last posted here! Busy as always making lots of tiny things, trying to thrive as an art person in this silly little thing we’re still calling an economy! Here’s some highlights

I kept seeing that nasty AI starter pack doll trend and it was great to see so many artists reject it by recreating it with actual hand drawn versions! I decided to make a physical one instead
AI is a poisoned chalice. IP theft and environmental impact aside, it hurts art and you don’t need it!

Bit of a roundup, my first market of the year is this weekend in Brighton and I’m both stocking up and making a new set of display stands! I always have like 6 fewer weeks than I think I have. Search for the Nightfair market if you want to encounter me in the wild!

Bebe daggers! These are 12th scale, and probably the smallest I can go with hand forging. I also have to hand sand, because my belt sander gets a little too chummy with my fingernails

Tiny cinquedea! I’ve been horribly ill the last couple of weeks and had trouble focusing on one set of fullers and this one has 6!
Might be something I try again in future as a brooch or pendant, it’s broadness lends itself to being blunt and dangly
