A tarot-ish styled illustration depicting Johanna Hezenkoss from Dragon Age: The Veilguard. At the top of the illustration, she appears as her young self depicted from the waist-up flanked by a graphic representation of her fashionable goggles and backed by the symbol that appears on the Nevarran crest. In reverse at the bottom of the illustration she appears as she does in game, however, she is in contrast backed by the crest and eye sockets of her bone colossus. At the center of the illustration, both figures are holding the gloaming lantern which crackles with green and deep purple energy.

I LIVE. Mostly. The past 6 months have been like falling down the stairs. One thing I can say for certain is that I'm so SO honored to have been able to work with the @worldofthedaszine.bsky.social crew on the latest zine!

Illustration depicts an embalming performed by Myrna and Vorgoth under the supervision of a spirit wearing a large, jeweled headdress. The body on the embalming table is shrouded in cloth that wraps around its face, across its shoulder, and around its hips (dignity matters). Half of the body is shown as cleaned bones, which Myrna is lovingly adorning with gold jewelry. The other half is shown as musculature. Vorgoth has his left hand resting on the abdomen, and has his ceremonial knife raised in his right. There's a green light that is glowing from within the rib cage of the embalmed, that can also be seen in the eyes, shining through the shroud. The figures are lit by an auditorium of large candles that encircle them. Canopic jars dot the ground beneath the table - which has beetle-like legs and horned appendages.

Back to the zombies - I decided to take a bit of a break with the background painting so I could work on one of my other concepts.

Really happy with how this one turned out! Skin textures were def a proof of concept that I'll be taking back to the first one.

With the confidence of my last illustration, I'm pushing myself to do more backgrounds. I gotta stop being such a wiener about it 🤣

Ultimately, this will be a part of a horror/zombie set of creature illustrations.

Gallus is a trans-masc Menzoberranzan escapee (fugitive?). He's clever, sarcastic, and overly observant of everything except for his own two feet. Actually very shy and easily spooked.

Part of my world includes a secondary plane of #anthros that overlaps with Valtus - but is relatively difficult to access.

Prunella is a dignitary that lives in its capital city, Inhira!

I created a token for her in the event she ever comes up in #D&D.

Last Friday I randomly decided to recompile, and fully realize a book of sketches and stories I made several years ago.

It's gone from being just 18 pgs to being nearly 50 pgs of world-building. Now I'm deep in the weeds making maps.

Anyway, my ADHD is going great. 😅 I can't wait to finish this.

A series of the aforementioned WIPs (the ones that ended up as separate files anyway haha)
WIP 1 - most closely resembling the final WIP 2 - a narrower face with clear skin and a lighter complexion. Still missing hair. WIP 3 - A totally different look. Distinct moles on face, a determined look, and big up-do hair. WIP 4 - I abandoned this one pretty much immediately for being boring.
