They are not totally wrong. The benefit system is being abused by some today. I see it first hand. I have no discernible specific service related illness. But I could get PTSD, burn pit and Tinnitus disability ratings based on my experiences. I have friends doing it daily.

There are varying degrees of stupidity. Tennesseans raise the ante by also rejecting expanded Medicaid year after year. We have declined over $30 billion dollars to date.
The poor rural voters who just helped elect Trump are the ones losing their hospitals. They vote directly against themselves
