We've had a really great start on our special Tuesday off. After a nice interlude in the bedroom, we had some breakfast followed shortly by fresh pecan sticky buns and coffee.

(M) I bought a new brand of marker (Ohuhu) after 22 years of using only sharpies. They have a dual tip, one like I'm used to, and the other is a brush. The only downside for this set is a distinct lack of orange. I attempted the light technique you see sometimes. It was a great learning experience.

Some things from my week in class. My lead teacher doodled on the board Friday, I made a mushroom craft I'm planning to make with the students, my name tag for class that will get laminated and hung up; which took me all weekend to color.

(M) I walked to meet Andrew when he was done working today. Along the way, I spotted this spot on the sidewalk where a squirrel got into some wet cement. Also, this neighborhood chalkboard on the outside of someone's front fence.

(M) My trip to the antique store the other day was quite interesting. This judgy lady was staring at me from ALL the vintage Coca Cola crap. The book of John Lennon poetry was an especially low point. Also, I think I know what a beaver whacker is, but I need someone to explain it in detail. 🤭
