Oh awesome, did you pick up The Emperor’s Soul on its own or as part of the Arcanum Unbounded? I had picked up a bunch of the novellas individually before I realized most of them are bundled together in Arcanum.

It’s been awhile since I read The Final Empire, what part of the sanderlanche didn’t work for you? Thinking back, that one did feel a bit forced compared to the others, but most seemingly closed threads/questions are picked up in the sequels and novelas.
