Rather proud of this one. 20% strong white and the rest a mixture of wholemeal seeded and granary flour - odd ends of bags from the cupboard. I find placing the loaf tin on a preheated pizza stone in the oven helps with a more even rise and a more thorough bake. Does anyone else do that? 🍞

Coffee (Cafe Roast from The Dancing Goat) and pastries in this secret hideaway in The Shambles in York - Hebden Tea Experience. Don’t be fooled by the frontage. There’s plenty of nice warm seating indoors, and the range of tea on offer is more than impressive!
