Note to self: Gifs don't 100% work on Bluesky but MP4 files seem to do just fine.

Overall, 'Man's Best Friend' by Sabrina Carpenter is definitely already getting a favorable score from me!

Fav / stand out tracks for me: 'Tears' and 'Nobody's Son'.

I'll definitely take a look at this album again when I have more time and look up the lyrics to all the songs because I'm sure I've missed something more shocking. I was just too lost in the vibes rn because this album is chill when it comes to the vibes.

Idk, maybe it's because I've become desensitized right now due to listening to a lot of spicy Disco Polo songs recently, but idk I didn't really experience any shocking moments while listening to this album for the first time.

Also I was kind of expecting more crazy lyrics here from how much controversy the album cover got when it was first revealed, but honestly, nothing she said in the new album surprised me.

I'm usually not a fan of slower songs, but I thought a lot of the slower songs felt really nice and smooth here.

Only compliant I have with her new album is that the album felt really short?

Honestly, it was a pretty good bop from start to finish! I loved the instrumentations and Sabrina's spicy lyrics. Sabrina's writing kind of reminds me of the earlier songs from the 80s band Rough Trade if anyone is Canadian and remembers them.
