Russia wants Equatorial Guinea’s oil to help fund the war in Ukraine. Equatorial Guinea currently produces around 80,000 barrels of crude per day. Moscow has sent 200 paramilitaries to Equatorial Guinea after discussing terms with the government for Russian companies to enter its oil and gas sector.
