Unfortunately we're both American. We'd love to remain so if this thing can be turned around, but we're prepared to research countries that will take us if it comes to that. We are established financially so it's less about that and more about what's realistic given everything. Happy for your friend

It's sad that it seems it is only the ones who know what it's like to have rights restricted that are paying attention. My partner and I are thinking the US won't be safe for us if the country won't stand up to Trump and his ilk.
We just don't know where we'd be able to go.

I participated in or last election and was horrified with the results. I'm so sorry our country has let the world down by a portion of our population shirking their civic engagement. We are embarrassed and horrified by this administration's actions and idiocy.
