we have failed as a society to train people to communicate, the way we teach students to write (when we bother to) is the most bland, anodyne crap, all while making them go to college for reasons that even we can't explain beyond "you need it to get a job." Kids don't get why they're going.

One of the wilder political things in recent history is that Project 2025 publicly released a 900 page document laying out their plans to roll back 100 years of human progress and then during the campaign Republicans just said "no we're not :)" and then they won and now they're doing it all.

Saw from the EVO Q/A that many were shocked that I used to be an illustrator. My college major was hand animation. Thus, decided to bust out the Dead Sea Scrolls from the mid 2000s and throw up some art for the next few days. All pen on paper.
