I don't know about you, but I don't need a team of lawyers to tell me to uphold the constitution, seriously though, Trump said what he said because he expects his partisan judges to strip free speech rights and due process rights away from migrants, legal or unregistered, it doesn't matter to them.

Anyways, while I think the DNC was manipulative, the GOP's actions are way beyond that, the GOP are fascists. They embrace oligarchy way more than Dems do, at least they do so openly, there's a lot of Dems that are bought and paid for too, but the entire GOP is owned by the billionaire class.

I never heard about the mailing list stuff, but I looked it up and it said 4 staffers looked up potential voters for Hillary and those staffers were fired for it. Your framing is pretty of the DNC's actions is pretty porous, coordination with media and HRC staff is beyond merely "preferring" HRC.

Its the waffling that's bad, he acted like he was backing the members rejecting the bill, but then reneged at the last moment, making him look weak rather than it being some planned thing. He should've just backed the bill and said let the GOP burn itself out if this was what he was doing all along.

Torture is a loaded word, hyperbole most likely, but sleep dep and not giving him his meds, stuffing him in a room with a bunch of other people they detained, that sounds totally like something immigration enforcement would do. Plus their refusal to disclose what he actually did is THEIR red flag.

Facebook censored my comment yesterday when I said this behavior by our leaders is gonna lead to more Luigis, they're all complicit in their efforts to silence and ignore the people's anger. Of course, ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away.
