Trump's crazy is so "normal" now it behooves us to realize that, prior to Trump's first term just what he did yesterday on his first day in office would be considered impeachable by all prior presidents.

Lucid makes the best sedan, likely also the most expensive. The Kia ev4 will be a sedan but likely not for sale in the USA until late 2025. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 or Kia ev6 are a tad larger than sedans but very nice vehicles. The new Nissan Leaf will also be out late 2025.

Also, I still haven't seen one in the wild or on the lot at my local VW dealer, not that I can afford one anyhow, I just want to see one.

Visually VW hit it out of the park with this one... One caveat though... How do you make this car and not have round headlights? I'll never get that one. Second issue, range is too low, hope you can make a second trim level in future models with a 300 mi range.

I'm guessing they didn't include the Nissan Leaf in this... Those batteries do not include any battery cooling and seem to degrade much quicker. This is anecdotal, having owned one and followed on Reddit.

Rivian has taken a bit of a different path, starting with a 4 door pickup truck, followed by a very large SUV. Their pipeline now has a slightly smaller SUV (R2S) coming likely in 2026, and a smaller compact SUV/crossover coming after 2027ish maybe?

Maybe it's the tried and true path but they are following Tesla when it comes to what types of cars to release and in what order:

Tesla had Model S followed later by Model X. Lucid had the Air, followed now by the Gravity.

To follow up on this article, first one just delivered by Lucid. In my opinion Lucid makes the best EV's out there. They are out of my price range so it's not an option for me... No corners cut here. Amazing battery tech.
