Idk about the UK part but have you seen the “leaked” alleged details and pics? If it’s all a fake, it’s the best fake of this stuff I’ve ever seen, by someone who knows their stuff re: what still exists/doesn’t.

The study of language is at once the study of numerous, very specific and unique differences between people(s)—and at the same time, so connecting and universal? Especially when you look within language families, in awe of the diversity and ingenuity and yet the basic continuity.

Have started writing something about this whole Platner situation, not sure if it'll go anywhere, and the premise is actually really simple - he was always sus, basically.
