I hope I'll have energy for personal projects once I'm done with my thesis, because now I really wanna make a cosy fantasy cooking adventure game where you play as my little frog fella named Pip, who absolutely loves cooking above all else. Throwing some Wind Waker / BotW mechanics into the mix too.

I've settled into my new apartment, and it's quite nice. There's not as much space here, but I think I prefer it. There was quite a bit of echo in my old apartment. There's a lot more traffic here, too, so it balances out any noise that comes from the building. So far so good.

Now that I've been on a little escape from the noises of city life, I've had the pleasure of having the wide wild woods just a few steps away from the front door. Feels good to be here. It's home.

I set a goal at the beginning of the year to read six books. Having just finished reading Neuromancer, which I enjoyed, I only need to read two more. It's a tough choice picking the next one though 🤔

I might have secured a new apartment! 😭 It's a lot smaller than my current one, but its layout is so much cozier than any other I've lived in and it's a newer one with (apparently) more peaceful atmosphere and better soundproofing. Just gotta wait for confirmation though.

I went to see the new Superman movie a few days ago and it was genuinely great! I haven't watched a lot of superhero stuff in a while, but this one was a lovely surprise. It had a lot of good vibes and an awesome contrast to the gritty and dark content that we mostly get nowadays. More of this pls!

I've been struggling a bit in getting started with my thesis project since my neighbours tend to absolutely ruin my sleeping schedule. All I can do is make more complaints for now, but I've finally gotten into doing worldbuilding and other general writing for the game. I'm excited for it ❤️

I beat Death Stranding 2 just now. To say that I'm a confused mess of emotions would be an understatement. I loved it a lot. There were times when I questioned that, but in its jaw droppingly baffling moments there is an amazing balance that, in my opinion, makes it a very different experience

It's taken me most of the day to replace my motherboard and cpu, but holy moly am I glad that it's done. Still installing drivers and apps, but now my PC is once more future proof and Windows 11 compatible. I can work on my projects without having to worry about that stuff.

I haven't played far yet (episode 3), but I've loved DS2 so far. As is my habit, I won't post any spoilers, but I might publish some scenery shots that I've taken of this beautiful game at some point. Keep on keeping on 👍🏻

Watched A Thousand Blows yesterday and I recommend it so much! Gotta wait for the second season now but I'm definitely happy that there is more to come.

I've been wondering if Capcom might remake 5 after this and now, after finishing the remade Separate Ways, I'm sure they will eventually. Looking forward to how they pull that off and more RE in general.

I went back to play the Resident Evil 4 remake that I hadn't finished and my love for this genre is reignited. I hope to explore more survival horror after this and I especially need to play the original first game still. I have only played its remake, but otherwise I've finished all the originals.
