If there is something increasing the numbers, we should be studying the massive number of chemicals in our water and air and food. Corporations have been poisoning us for decades. The government has never held them accountable. It’s unlikely to be a medication most of us have been taking for 90yrs.

That is actually the question scientists are trying to answer. Anecdotal evidence would seem to say yes, but that could just be the fact that more of us are aware of someone who has it. If there is something causing it to develop more frequently it will be exceedingly difficult to say what it is.

That number is false it’s more like 1 in 260. Also that original number was for profound autism, not the milder cases we identify today.
