so i moved, and i'm selling my old house, and the title company uses a third party to "prevent wire fraud". the third party's page says it's "securing my connection", then announces that it's failed, and INVALIDATES THE REQUEST. here's their explanation:
(screenshot) message from a company about their security software: It appears that there was an issue with the device you were using to access this link, possibly due to an ad blocker on the web browser or security/privacy software like an antivirus that prevented the CertifID security scan from running. This can happen on occasion, and it just needs to be turned off or attempted using a different device. You won’t be able to try again using the link you’ve already received. In this case, your closing agency must send a new request for you to try again. I’ve contacted the closing agency to let them know. We recommend that you turn off any security software or use a different browser and/or device on the next attempt. We appreciate your patience and understanding with this security process.
