I actually don’t think you do. They are doing their jobs. Again, meta is helping ice specifically. Meta is cowing to Trump. Tim is showing face on behalf of his company. There is a difference. Just like Mamdani doing his job as mayor to meet with Trump and express his concerns.

What was he supposed to do? Decline the invite? Trump is meddling in every aspect of our lives including corporate America. Buying stakes in companies. Rejecting mergers. Adding tarrifs at a whim. Tim and others have to play the game as a duty to their employees and shareholders.

Huh? Cook is the CEO of a company that is dealing with the most hostile Presidency since Reagan. He’s supposed to snub an invite? What are ya’ll even talking about? Also, look at the rhetoric since this weekend? Tim is clearly saying that he discussed these issues. That’s a big deal.
