Thinking about Roger Corman's cameo in The Godfather II. Such a director/producer could not exist in the industry now with the idea of giving would-be filmmakers a la Coppola minimal budgets to hone a vision be it shlock or grace. Hollywood today is too maximalist with its money expectations. Pity.
old man Roger Corman who made a lot of crap movies but also some great ones & believed in helping other filmmakers make shoe string films a reality but today that kind of supportive behind the scenes don't not exist in a hollywood industry obsessed with making money instead of giving filmmakers the tools they need to make great movies.

The mean owner in Major League who hates the fucking song when Wild Thing plays is the same way I feel about Faith of the Heart ruining Enterprise. I would love to do another Enterprise rewatch but I can't stand skipping over that damn song again and again. That frigging song is what killed the show I swear.

Sure Barnabas is SO worried about what Quentin will do to Maggie but he's TOTALLY forgotten how he kidnapped, terrorized & brainwashed her before Dr. Hoffman hypnotized her & erased her memory of the whole thing.

Late Birthday Reminder of how Ingrid Pitt was a prolific writer later in life & chronicled her experiences of being in a concentration camp during World War II.
Ingrid Pitt in The Vampire Lovers one of my favorite Hammer Movies getting the rainbow horror on with Carmilla in a lovely green regency frock that I want to make. However in celebrating Ingrid Pitt we must remember she had a very troubled life filled with nazis, illness, concentration camps, and assault. She wrote about these things later in life and it's important to remember the pain of past history so we don't repeat it and let facism rise to power now.

#PhysicalMedia is your friend, as it looks like this once very popular Baryshnikov television version is now tough to find streaming! Superb orchestration & dance, even the stage design & costumes don't feel dated but add to the wonder. Still impressive!

When Roger sees Quentin & finally believes the supernatural happenings on Dark Shadows...one of the best moments of the series. 🖤
the defeated Roger Collins, seeing the ghost of Quentin and now realizing all the paranormal things on our kooky little Dark Shadows are real in one of the best moments of the series as the ghost wins because he has amazing mutton chop side burns but that's not in this pic.

What's this? Jack Irish Seasons 1-3 free on Plex? I do think you should watch the TV Movies first but I also think everyone who hasn't seen Jack Irish is missing out on some of Guy Pearce's best work & that's saying a lot.

Jack and Linda on Jack Irish because they are awesome and the show is awesome and Guy Pearce is awesome and I think Jack Irish is the best show you haven't seen. The first 3 tv movies are best and you should go in order but I'm so glad the following 3 tv seasons are now readily available on streaming. Jack fucking Irish!
