Church of England country vicar in East Cambridgeshire. Well woke.
Well, I guess if they *do* pray, there's at least a fighting chance that they'll hear God speaking to them - which might be not prove to be what they were expecting

I once went to fetch a tech guy because my computer wasn't working. We walked to the other side of a large hospital site. He leaned over the computer and said "Is this lead meant to be hanging out?" Then, reader, he plugged it in. Behold the redness of my face...

Because I could not stop for Death –
He kindly stopped for me –
The Carriage held but just Ourselves –
And Immortality.
or
Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God,
But only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round and pluck blackberries

I've got to say, this is Comper at his most insipid. Still, you managed to get a photo without a load of encroaching ivy!

According to clear sky, I'm blocked by 18 people, with a whole bunch happening on 31st May last year. Oddly, from the bios that I can see, they're all people I would agree with on most things! Bizarre...

Well, yes. You have a point! I'm not convinced, though, that many of the more recent crop are quite so heavy on the comedy and light on the horror as those.

That's rather uncharitable - make more space for pedestrians by narrowing the roads instead.

☹️ Caught early, and with the right treatment, it has a very good prognosis, though.

I never had a real curry (nor a pizza) till I was 18. We had some horrible slop at school that they called curry, which I loathed, and which convinced me that I 'didn't like curry'. Happily I had some friends who took me to a proper curry house and made me try it!

Anyone remember Noel Stanton and his "Army"? Same vibes with added nazism...
