I have found Soule's writing and the way he keeps Kylo stagnant to be very infuriating and, yes, boring. I understand he's stuck in the one-year window before TRoS, and he has to get/keep Kylo in the mindset of how TRoS had him, but ffs, it's dull and unimaginative at best.
